For over 50 years Leofric have been providing sectional concrete garages and buildings to local authorities, public utilities and contractors across the the U.K. Our garages are based on the original 'Marley' designs- probably the most widely used garage system in the country- which means that in most cases we can supply replacement parts to refurbish these 60's era garages.
Leofric 8F garages are the most popular choice for a local authority, housing association or any organization that requires a maintenance free solution to their garage requirements. These garages have a forward sloping, mono pitch roof with integral gutters and down pipes molded into the front posts and rafters. These garages are ideal for a situation where the garages back on to a property where access is not available to maintain the rainwater goods.
All the components used in the construction of these garages are totally maintenance free and noncombustible (with the exception of timber firing strips on the dividing walls). Roof trusses are cold rolled & galvanized.
8F & 9F garages were originally designed to meet local authority specifications in the early 60’s, since then thousands of installations of 8 & 9F garages have been carried out throughout the UK, and they remain the most popular choice for this application today. The integral rainwater system, combined with concrete side and rear fascias / eaves detail and rigorously tested tongue & grooved panel jointing arrangement complete this highly specified design that other manufacturers can only try to imitate.
Leofric 9F Garages are 16" or 400mm wider than the 8F and simply give the choice of a wider garage and door to cope with disabled use, or just to give more space if needed.
As with all Leofric garages all up & over doors are fully retractable & powder coated and can be supplied with standard two point or multi locking options. 8 and 9F garages can also be specified with rearward sloping roofs.

Marley garages manufactured as far back as the 1960's may still be in a condition worth refurbishment by ourselves. Leofric inherited the Marley moulds from them at the time of the take-over in the 1990's.
